Tips for Liquid Foundation Application

This look achieved with Timewise Matte Wear Liquid Foundation

Don’t wear the same foundation with a summer tan as you would in the winter. Skin color changes with the seasons, so your foundation should change, too. Actually your entire skin care routine should change from summer to winter. Not only does our tan fade but our complexion changes. In most cases our skin is more oily in the summer and much dryer in the winter. For radiant glowing skin reassess your skin and the products you use on it regularly. If skin care and makeup is about spending a few minutes to pamper yourself make sure you are getting the benefits you want out of the time you are spending.

For the most even looking foundation application, use your fingertips or a triangle sponge to apply your liquid foundation.

Don't forget your eyelids when applying foundation. Even if you don't want to wear eyeshadow it will help even out the skin tone on your eyelids giving you a more polished look.

To apply foundation start at the center of the face and blend outward, gradually applying with a lighter touch as you approach your neck and hairline.

  1. Thanks for stopping by and following! I am happy to be your newest follower as well. Another foundation tip I swear by is to always make sure concealer goes on UNDER the foundation.Otherwise, some seriously scary reverse raccoon eyes can happen!

  2. Thank you for the great reminder. Yes concealer should be applied UNDER the foundation. But even better would be to use a skin care product that helps combat eye circles instead of just covering them up or a skin care product that helps even out skin tone.
