A Holiday Blogging Event for Animals in Need



We here at Two Little Cavaliers have been thinking long and hard about what to do for the Holidays that would be different and fun. Something that would benefit the blogging community and the animals we all care so much about. I know you have all seen the blogging events where bloggers get together and offer cash prize to the winner of a Giveaway for liking them on Facebook or following them on Twitter. Well this event is going to be very similar only the cash prize will be split between the winner and a animal charity of their choice (charity must be a 501c3 and have a track record of saving animals) be it a local shelter, canine cancer, a service dog organization, or even a wildlife preservation organization.
 

 

Bloggers can sign up to promote their Facebook Fan Pages, Twitter links, and their Google+ pages for just $10 for all 3 links. The $10 will be split in the following way $6 to the winner's charity and $4 towards the winner's cash prize. Instead of having you transfer the payment to my Paypal account I have set up a chip in widget this way we can all see how much money has been collected. Payment MUST be made in US dollars in the full amount of $10. We are aiming for at least 35 blogs to participate in this event all promoting and cross promoting the event and giveaway for the most exposure for everyone.

Don't worry people will not need to follow 35 blogger 3 separate ways all at once in order to be eligible to win. During the course of the two weeks you will put up three separate posts all of which you will receive the html code for in advance. The winner will be chosen from the 3 Raffelcopter widgets via random.org. Since I am the one who will be in charge of contacting the winner all participating bloggers will be eligible to enter to win the giveaway.

We hope you will sign up to participate in this event. This is a great way to give back to animals in need and promote your blogs and other social media accounts in the process!

The not so fine print:
  • There is no admin fee for this event but we would like your help in promoting this event. Therefore we have decided that the person who sends us the most participating bloggers will receive a $15 gift card to Amazon, Petco, or Petsmart from us. All you need to do is write a blog post telling your readers about the event. Remember the more people that spread the word about the event the more participation there will be.
  • You can contribute to the chip-in even if you are not participating in the event. Only the money from Bloggers will be added to the cash prize for the winner all donations will be given to the winner's charity of choice.
  • The blogger who sends the most participating blogs to the event will be emailed on December 13th when we close registration.
  • PLEASE fill in the form so we can put all of the information together for the event. Filling out the form is the only way we will be able to keep track of you and your links.
  • Once you have filled out the form and submitted your money via chip (visible in our sidebar) in please add your name to the link list below.
